 How exactly did you restore your computer?  There is a way to regenerate
 the icons.  Give this a shot and let me know how it does for you.  After
 you remove the file it should auto regenerate.  You may need to log out
 and back in after doing this.

 cd /.kde4/cache-*(yoursystemname)/[[BR]]
 rm icon-cache.kcache
