 The problem still persists at the version 06222012, that has no full disk
 encryption by default install.

 If I log in as super user, and let it alone (i.e. I start a download that
 takes for hours), the display will go to sleep. If I move the mouse or
 push a button, it does not wake up. "No video input" is running on the
 screen.

 FX 5700 LE is in the computer, now I try to test it with different cards.
 (before I had no time to do any other test)
