 Possibly, setting hw.pci.do_power_nodriver=2 (or even 3) in loader.conf
 will do no harm, while offer some power savings. But, I can't guarantee
 that it doesn't break anything, so it has to be tested well. Found here
 http://wiki.freebsd.org/TuningPowerConsumption. I've used it for some
 time, and it seems that all works, but haven't done thorough tests, so I'm
 a bit unsure about it.
