 I haven't adjusted my configuration in anyway.

 I have just removed glib and reinstalled it (2.26.1_1, assuming this
 refers to devel/glib20). Given the whole heap of stuff that gets installed
 it could be several components. But that wouldn't necessarily explain the
 differences reported by configure which is definitely not finding what it
 expects. Any other ports I can try to reinstall?
