Comment:

 Ok, reopening then. We've made a number of fixes to our installer, maybe
 it was something odd in there. Can you grab this snapshot?

 Download the amd64 ISO, and give it a whirl. Its a pre-release, but the
 installer seems to work much better than before. Also, report back any
 partitioning you may have done, or if you just took the defaults.
