Comment:

 This is because the "powerd" daemon isn't enabled by default on PC-BSD
 8.0. (It causes crashes / stability problems with some nvidia systems)
 This error is cosmetic in nature only though, just a warning. If you want
 to try enabling powerd, you can do so in /etc/rc.conf, just look for
 "powerd_enable".

 Assuming the problems are fixed for FreeBSD 8.1, we'll enable it by
 default :)
