 Thats probably the manual way to test it for sure, otherwise you can grab
 a copy of the FreeBSD 8-Stable snapshots from 2-17 and test with that.
 (Assuming the patch went in before then)

 Otherwise, If you can wait, I'll be rolling some PC-BSD 8-Stable versions
 in the next few weeks as well :)
