 I don't know what went wrong but when I chose to upgrade from 7.1.1 to
 8.0-RC2 after reboot the error I got was '''could not mount root'''. I did
 not know what to do, so I did a fresh install and then it installed and
 detected ok. I tried both from live DVD and directly choosing the default
 which is to start the installer from the beginning at boot up.
