Comment:

 I found the GUI for configuring the Display Brightness in the following
 place:
 KDE Start Menu --> System Settings --> Power Management --> Edit Profiles
 --> Screen

 But, the slider for adjusting the display brightness is locked at the
 maximum brightness level and I am not able to move the slider to a
 different setting.
