Comment(by kris):

 You should be able to change video drivers at any time during bootup, by
 selecting "Run display setup wizard" (Option 7) at the boot-splash screen.
 When the wizard comes up you can then change the driver from intel to
 nvidia or visa versa. Have you tried that yet?
