#185: Missing 3rd CD results in broken install

Component: Installer | Version: 7.1.1
Keywords: broken install, missing cd |

I recently tried installing PC-BSD 7.1.1 x86 into Virtualbox using CDs 1
and 2.
When asked about the additional optional software, I selected some, and
had neglected to read the bit about it requiring the third CD.
When it had virtually finished the install and asked for the third CD, I
had to click Cancel because I didn't have it. The installer told me that
I'd be aborting the install and rebooted the machine.
The new system came up to a text prompt. My user account hadn't been
created. I started kdm manually, and basically the system was pretty
broken - su didn't work, there was no networking, etc. It seems that some
of what the installer is meant to do, happens after dealing with the 3rd
CD, and if there is software to be installed from there and the user
cancels, this extra configuration doesn't get done.
If the user cancels at the "Please insert CD 3" prompt, the installer
should carry on and configure the system as normal. Instead, it fails to
configure the system, leaving it pretty broken.
