Just to give a heads up, I heard in the Freenode IRC chat room that the full google-chrome is not in the app cafe, due to some licensing restrictions,(can be used on linux only) the google browser in the appcafe is the full google-chrome, minus the baked in flash, I know this because in the terminal It runs as "chrome" not chromium
It's a shame Adobe nixed Flash on Linux development. It's also a bummer
something like Lightspark doesn't compile (according to Freshports) or
work on BSD either.
If we can make PC-BSD become popular and widespread then one day the big
software companies could develop apps for PC-BSD? This is the main
reason I test PC-BSD so heavily and report any bugs or usability
issues. In this case, I think it's worth getting the latest Google
Chrome releases in the AppCafe (and updates) to see if Flash then works
properly.
