Hi,

Under system settings -> input devices  (from PCBSD control panel)

There are 3 entries
Keyboard
Mouse
Remote Controls

The GUI doesn't indicate which dev these icons are pointing to. I would expect to see 2 by usb mouse present.

There is not an entry for a tablet or a second mouse. I believe that the tablet support is done through the usb mouse driver part of X from an obscure post I saw from Kris Moore in the middle of last year.

A note from Dru for 9.0-rc2 said a tablet display should be detected during installation and this would be supported in the isotope release. During installation this tablet (Dell ST2220T) is not found.

I have tried rebooting the PC without a USB mouse connected and the touch screen still doesn't work. I have tried a reinstall without a mouse connected and it still doesn't work.

This tablet display is usb (see usbconfig below) and the system can see it as a usb device. The install process cannot make the link to this device as a "pointer" in X. Can anyone give me some hints on a configuration file I may be able to edit to get X looking at the device as a pointer.
