While my update to rc3 from rc2 was in the process of downloading,
I [adverb] caused network connectivity problems which lead to a
timeout. The update quit but now it believes that the update was
successful. I am wondering what to erase or cause to be restored
or whatever, so that my system can restart the update procedure.
Thanks for your help!
If you simply restart downloading the update, it'll do the
checksums, and resume downloading at where it failed :)

Otherwise, you can remove the directory /usr/local/tmp/9.0-RC3 to
begin again.
