    Fresh install from 32 bit DVD after testing beta 1 previously.<br>

    <br>

    KDE, Nvidia and hplip selected at install, locale Europe London and

    UK keyboard.<br>

    <br>

    Selected nvidia driver option which after configuring x returns to

    the select driver screen again without asking to confirm ok.

    Selected skip option and graphics worked fine (later checked

    xorg.conf and gforce4 mx440 was properly configured).<br>

    <br>

    Login screen shows all standard USA locale despite UK selection

    during install. Changed to UK at login screen and all configured

    fine.<br>

    <br>

    Installed HPF390 all-in-one through HP toolbox icon (hplip) and

    everything now works, including scanner, as Kris indicated in

    release announcement.<br>

    <br>

    Installed Thunderbird PBI which is version 3.1.1 and quite old now -

    port is at version 6.0_1 and quite sure that PCBSD 8.2 PBI is

    version 5.<br>

    <br>

    ext2 partition mounts via file manager but not NTFS with default

    install.<br>

    <br>

    Definite progress on this system since beta 1, will report further

    issues as they arise.<br>
