Hi,<br>
<br>
Some PCBSD specific files are probably not updated.<br>
Errors on console during booting/shutdown<br>
<br>
/usr/PCBSD/Scripts/system_start.sh not found<br>
/usr/PCBSD/Scripts/system_stop.sh not found<br>
<br>
eval /usr/PCBSD/soundDetect/sound_detect not found<br>
<br>
/etc/rc.d/netif $ipv6_enable deprecated use
$ipv6_activate_all_interfaces<br>
<br>
furthermore sudoers file is being overwritten without
confirmation, changes are lost<br>
<br>
Cheers,<br>

Updating from 8.1 -> 9 will NOT be officially supported, so
you can expect to run into some problems like this.<br>

No, usually we only do upgrades for minor point releases, like 8.0
-> 8.1 -> 8.2. Going to a major new release should be done
fresh, however you can make a backup of your entire /home directory,
and restore that on the fresh 9. That'll preserve all your data. <br>
