Yes, of course. It's hard when these non-standard laptops get pushed
out with really obscure components (i.e. Netbooks). Of course, I just
read a story the other day that said the days of netbooks are coming to
and end because of tablets. And as far as I can tell, we won't see *BSD
on a tablet for a very, very, very long time if ever. I wonder though
if it's premature to say it because of things like AMD Fusion. We'll
see.<br>

I wasn't even able to find this model on the Siemens-Fujitsu site as I
though there might be a BIOS update for it. My hunch is it's some
odd-ball piece of hardware that's not jiving with 8.2.<br>

I have installed PC-BSD 8.2 on a Fujitsu AMILO si 3655, but it wont
boot.<br>

It is stuck at some point with the following message appearing
repeatedly:<br>

When will these stop or how can I stop it so that I can use the OS? :-)<br>

This is Intel Centrino (Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz) with 4GB RAM and I have
installed the amd64 version of the OS.<br>
Bios Version 1.03c<br>

It's a very stupid BIOS as it does not give me much to tweak! I can't
even tell what this ugen7.2 is.<br>
