The following is weird in System Settings -> System Network Configuration -> Network Configuration Advanced:

- even if you double-click the interface to configure it (which
correctly prompts for su password), those creds do not get passed to the
Advanced tab, meaning that by default everything is greyed out and
inaccessible (confusing to users)--you can click on the Change
Configuration button to be prompted for su password, but this opens up a
different screen with a different layout and different choices (more
confusing). I'm wondering if there is a way to let this entire GUI cache
the password so users don't have to be prompted for it everytime they
click on a different interface or configuration button. Also, it may be
less confusing if the initial Advanced screen looks the same as the
secondary Advanced screen (after the user authenticates)

- the secondary Advanced screen does not contain the Help, Defaults,
Reset or Apply buttons which are greyed out the entire time in the
primary screen, making help inaccessible and the user unsure if their
changes are actually applied

Suggestions:

- move the Defaults, Reset or Apply buttons to the secondary screen
(those seen after the user types in su password) as they are only useful
there; either that or don't open a second screen, simply activate
everything in the Advanced tab after authentication

- activate the Help button everywhere

- require only one authentication while in this GUI

Cheers,
