Few years ago I did such thing:<br>
PC-BSD host with qemu, HP 2400 scanner - usb, <br>
Linux - qemu-guest.<br>
<br>
I did connect hp scanner through qemu into linux, scan pictures just
fine (rare glitches though).<br>
<br>
So, you could create qemu-guest with Windows, or even try to play with
ReactOS :)<br>

I don't believe any of the VM's will support the USB. James Nixon tried<br>
several times with iTunes in Wine here at the office. It worked, kind<br>
of, but organizing his music files in iTunes resulted in ruining all the<br>
files and rendering them unplayable.<br>
<br>
Josh Paetzel says that he can sync his iPhone using Amarock and<br>
audio/libgpod.<br>
