[PC-BSD Testing] PC-BSD 10 rc2 and rc3 usb boot hang on "Grub loading. Welcome to GRUB!

just tried arch Linux USB boot which uses grub text and works fine, so this is specific to pcbsd.
I notice the release of rc5 already any changes that might help my case?
