I'd like to use Vuescan scanning application under Pc-BSD, but since
Linux compatibility is missing some libs, I'd prefere not to spoild my
base OS with it which means is good candidate for Linux Jail.
However attempt to create Debian-based jail fails:
Setting up linux jail...
/usr/local/share/warden/scripts/backend/createjail.sh: cannot create /usr/jails/vuescan/etc/master.passwd: No such file or directory
mv: rename /usr/jails/vuescan/tmp/master.passwd to /usr/jails/vuescan/etc/: No such file or directory
mv: rename /usr/jails/vuescan/tmp/pwd.db to /usr/jails/vuescan/etc/: No such file or directory
mv: rename /usr/jails/vuescan/tmp/spwd.db to /usr/jails/vuescan/etc/: No such file or directory
rm: /usr/jails/vuescan/tmp/passwd: No such file or directory
cp: /usr/jails/vuescan/etc/resolv.conf: No such file or directory
chroot: /.fixSH: No such file or directory
Success! Linux jail created at /usr/jails/vuescan
Changing root password on: chroot: /.chpass.sh: No such file or directory
Probably it's not too difficult for those familiar-enough with sh.
Before giving up this present body, if one is able to tolerate
the urges of the material senses and check the force of desire and
anger, he is well situated and is happy in this world.
