Sounds like your pkgng database is corrupt?

Try removing this file "/var/db/pkg/repo-pcbsd.sqlite" then run "pkg
update -f"

Does that fix your database?

Also, a fresh round of PBIs is incoming in a day or so. We unfroze our
ports tree the other day, and the poudriere builds just finished.
