Hi Jeff,

Answering both questions in-line.

>Searched everywhere how to enable splash screen during boot.
>In 9.1 it was enabled in loader.conf and the pcx image was in the boot directory.? Nothing there now.
>How to set it up?

9.1 used the FreeBSD bootloader (which uses a pcx splash screen) while 9.2 uses the GRUB bootloader. GRUB instead uses themes--more info on these can be found under Figure 8.4c at http://wiki.pcbsd.org/index.php/Boot_Manager#Managing_Boot_Environments_Using_Boot_Manager.

>How to reduce FreeBSD boot option screen delay.
>Seems to be different than in 9.1

Yup. See that same section under Figure 8.4c.
