Can you change the mirror to (ftp://ftp.pcbsd.org/pub/mirror/) instead
of snapshots?

Set / create this file /usr/local/etc/pcbsd.conf:

# Default PC-BSD Mirror for System Updates / Meta-Pkgs
PCBSD_MIRROR: http://ftp.pcbsd.org/pub/mirror/
