well no, my original point was, there WAS no "normal" user and im 99%
certain I specified one

during the setup I did check the "allow ssh" option
I was able to ssh just by editing /etc/ssh/sshd_config and allowing
root to ssh... so no default firewall problems
also if pf is supposed to be in the TrueOS kernel... it isn't

root at Ziggy:~ # pfctl -d
pfctl: /dev/pf: No such file or directory
