I think it's a special patch, yes either in the browsers themselves or the
system software
The mailing list went down last night too, with it saying "Error: Invalid
command, here is a list of your commands"
It stated this even though, it was a simple plain email...
Here are the contents of last night's email....
"It could also be a fix/patch Firefox(16.01) and chromium(22)
have implemented in their browsers, as the avatar people still are present
in the latest Opera browser(Linux native), but it is possible for it to be
both a combination of the new XORG and browser patches... or either"
Tested this in sabayon 10 and Arch, which are mostly upstream rolling
distro's so usually some bleeding edge stuff
It still happens in open suse 12.2 and ubuntu 12.10
