[PC-BSD Testing] kvm causes mouse to lockup

All,
I installed pcbsd9.1-stable snapshot 20120605 from DVD onto an HP/Compaq 7800p, 4Gig of RAM, 135G HD. Previously I had Windows7/PCBSD9.0 dual boot with Gag installed. The snapshot install went smoothly. Windows was preserved but Gag was overwritten (not a problem). My PC is connected to a KVM switch. When I switch away then back the mouse is unresponsive; however the keyboard still works. I booted with ACPI disabled - same result. I tried LXDE, same result. Read through section 12.17 of the handbook and incorporated the suggested changes, including disabling acpi altogether. Attached is my dmesg result. Let me know if there is anything else I need to provide.

<snippet of loader.conf>
# Disable acpi throttle by default, fixes issues with powerd and later AMDs

hint.acpi_throttle.0.disabled="1"
hint.acpi.0.disabled="1"
hint.p4tcc.0.disabled="1"

# Added 6/14/2012 by rfg: disable acpi because mouse locks up after
# switching away using KVM switch.
hint.psm.0.flags="0x3000"

#disable acpi
acpi_load="NO"
