[PC-BSD Testing] Problem with switching to virtual console

First, I apologize for not "S S S H H H ing."  I must never do that again.


I have a problem with switching to virtual console via
[Alt]-[Ctrl]-[Fn2], the monitor goes black.  However, I can return to
PCBSD switching back via [Alt]-[Ctrl]-[Fn9].

PCBSD 9.0-x64-Full-DVD fresh install.  Video adapter is a nVidia
GeForce GT240  using nVidia 290.10 driver.
