[PC-BSD Testing] Gnome desktop icons are overlapping after many apps install

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install many apps where the desktop will be completely full of icons
2. Install more apps
3. Login to gnome

Observed behaviour:
Desktop icons are overlapping
In LXDE, KDE and xfce, desktop icons will not overlap even you install apps
past the desktop can accommodate
