If you have symbols like "-" or "ß" in your password, or if you use the
characters "y" and "z" you run into the problem, that these characters
are on different keys on different keyboard layouts.
So instead of "y" you get a "z".
When you set your password, you don't see that immediatly, because the
characters are masked during input.
When you login you think you have typed the right password, but it is
refused, since the keyboard layout is german then.
So it is not only about special national symbols but also for other
characters.
