Hi Kris,
Could I copy the examples/pcinstall.cfg.upgrade file
and fill it with my own values? And then do:
pc-sysinstall -c /tmp/my-upgrade.cfg
to get PC-BSD installed on my Macbook on top of the
FreeBSD slice.
Here's the contents of examples/pcinstall.cfg.upgrade:
# Sample configuration file for an installation using pc-sysinstall
installMode=upgrade
installInteractive=no
hostname=freebsd8
# Set the disk parameters
disk0=ada0s1a
bootManager=none
commitDiskPart
# Set if we are installing via optical, USB, or FTP
installType=PCBSD
installMedium=dvd
packageType=uzip
#installComponents=ports,src
# Options for localizing an install
localizeLang="ru"
localizeKeyLayout="ru"
localizeKeyModel="pc104"
localizeKeyVariant="intl"
