Just to inform you that installer's failure with mirror is not
connected with ZFS - it fails with 'default' install & UFS:

so I wonder if there is any reference of successful install using
mirror?

IIRC, installer was failing (didn't try 8.2) with 8.2RC's as well, so
if it is not properly tested, maybe it's better to leave that option
out?

I'll download 8.2 and try with it...
