[PC-BSD Testing] Time zone problem

This is likely a KDE issue but thought I'd ask here first.

Changes to the timezone (and other settings like NTP server) don't get saved in the system settings panel.

Right clicking on the tray clock does show my time zone but it doesn't match that set in the system settings panel.  They appear to conflict.

Hovering over the tray clock shows UTC, Araguaina, and Bangkok, as well as NYC.  Huh?

Totally screwed up.
