Alexander,
In iBus 1.3.3_1, there was a change that may reflect this problem being
fixed:
/ * add devel/py-notify in RUN_DEPENDS; it is not installed by any port
in the hierarchy, without it there is no panel icon and candidates
menus;
/
Not sure id the two are related but it was something I noticed.
