Until I can afford spending one grand on a processor I will stick for 
bang-for-the-buck and go with AMD. Having said that, the only people who 
upgrade to RUN an OS are Windows users. The only reason I haven't 
upgraded my computer for about a year now is because FreeBSD/PC-BSD is 
so damn efficient.

That said my game partition went to Windows 7 and now I can't play games 
that I used to get by using my GeForce 7600GT. Go figure ;).
