I was advised to email the test list.
Upgraded system to 8 - Beta no real problems.
Configured things the way I wanted. Upgraded to 8 - RC. No problems. (Live DVD - install - upgrade.)
Same approach for RC-2.... it seemed to keep the fstab used for the liveDVD? Not sure what happened so went to liveDVD - install - fresh install. Now the partitions make some sense, but there is no fstab. Is that even routinely possible or is that some special setting?
The default partition format was UFS+S. What is +S?
Why isn't there an fstab?
-Steve
PS: Downgrading to RC to see if that works as a "upgrade" to the existing RC2.
