[PC-BSD Testing] Vim hangs

Any once else have this problem?

I have it on two different machines with 7.1.1.

Invoking Gvim either from the menu (utilities - Vim Editor) or the command line results in the program hanging.

Vim or the graphical gvim you mean? gvim works fine here. What happens if you
run gvim / vim from konsole? Any error messages?
