What do you mean by "live cd" ? Did you created somehow some sort of
live cd?

It's OK, it's checking for USB flashes. But it seems that before that,
setup didn't found cd device;
could you boot into non-graphical interface, choose console, and then make
ls /dev and tell us which devices are there?
