[PC-BSD Testing] System update icon in tray not reset until reboot

you can right click on it and choose "check for updates" ...

Kris, you may want to create a file in a folder that can be shared between the two processes and change the content depending on what is going on and have the systray check that file every seconds, or, even better send different signals to the systray icon.

        The system update icon in the tray does not revert to 'ok' until reboot, following an update completion.
