Aaron,

So you did the upgrade to OpenOffice 3.0 before applying the 7.0.1 patch 
right? Was OO installing and working before  installing 7.0.1? I'm 
running 7.0.1 here, and I just ran the system updater, and it did remove 
2.4.1, and update it to 3.0.0 just fine, so I'm not sure at what point 
it actually got removed.
