I looked at those problems, and it seemed to me that the issue was 
somebody using a 64-bit PBI on a 32-bit PC-BSD installation. So I think 
we definitely need to look at making that clearer on the pbidir.com website.

Not seen anything else related to PBIs not working, could you point me 
at them? :)
