I'm assuming that you are doing a "kldload wlan_scan_sta" after seeing 
this message? Does that get rid of those errors?

I don't think so, those ack lines are for two different types of devices.

Whats weird is that it keeps insisting "no carrier", the radio is on 
right? Also this is on 7-Stable, so maybe something was broken in there 
recently? I'll update it again for next weeks ISO to see if something is 
amiss.

Tim,

Can you load the latest alpha on your laptop and confirm these problems 
with iwi? My laptop here uses wpi and that is working flawlessly right now.
