FYI,

I've found a bug report for this issue:

http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=164043

If you can, please go and throw your 2C into the comment field, and vote 
for the bug. That way it'll get noticed by more devs and hopefully fixed 
soon. If I have time, I'll try to hack away at it later this week as well.
