PCBSD has traditionally provided alternatives to KDE. When the system
starts and reaches the login page, look for the two small icons on the
bottom of the page. (There is a screen shot illustrating this @

Look for the icon labeled "Session Type." Clicking the "Session
Type" icon provides a menu from which you can select a different
windows manager.
