Sure! If you boot up the install CD, and your RAM or USB drive shows up 
as device such as da0* or ad0*, then you should be able to install to 
it. You may want to wait until the next alpha tomorrow morning though, 
I've made some improvements to the disk detection routines.

What type of disk specifically did you want to use?
