[PC-BSD Testing] Taskbar panel occasionally vanishes

Using 1.4 beta snapsot Friday 7-25-07, the taskbar panel across
the bottom of the screen suddenly vanished. This was after about
a week of operation, so it's certainly not frequent. But I seem
to remember that this also happened at least once while I was
using 1.3.x for a few weeks.

When this happens, all running apps are still visible by cycling
through the task list with alt-tab, and can be brought into the
foreground that way.
