I'm using PCBSD 9 release 64bit. I check updates daily using the
pc-controlpanel to launch the updater and appcafe. After a few days uptime
I noticed multiple instances of pc-controlpanel (thanks to conky).
Here is the output of ps aux | grep pc:
avahi 3074 0.0 0.1 30444 2636 ?? I Tue09pm 0:08.26
avahi-daemon: running [pcbsd-2975.local] (avahi-daemon)

The longest uptime is 7 days (because I restarted for other unrelated
reasons) and I've had about 5 instances of pc-controlpanel.
I can safely kill them and they disappear from the ps aux list. I just
wanted to make you aware of this just in case this is a bug.
Thank you,
Mathew Roberts.
