[PC-BSD Support] apps cafe and ports

Hi

without being critical, apps cafe is still missing lots of applications.

Can I install as usual any applications from the prots tree without 
getting into conflicts?

I checked this before, in nov/11, and then appcafe de-installed certain 
ports when using it for installing something new. I remember my Gimp, 
dhcp and some other ports constantly "disappeared"

Is this problem solved?

How is this meant to be? Can I use both, can I use one or the other?
