[PC-BSD Support] Why are there two /tmp dirs in Free/PC-BSD ?

It usually doesn't hurt to clear /var/tmp at boot time as well,  
though. Having a tmpfs mounted at /var or /var/tmp and linking /tmp  
to /var/tmp works fine for me.
