[PC-BSD Support] lost flash plugin

I was doing some experimental upgrading. ha... 
Long story short, I deleted .mozilla
restarted firefox and it created a new profile but I no longer have 
flash support.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the pbi but still cannot get flash support 
back.  Plugin doesn't appear to be installed.
The question of my hour is, how do I get it back and what happened?
